Take me to the edge of wonder Beyond the grey gates of the veteran saints To where our feet felt flowers Under the counterfeit moon Take me to the edge of madness Beyond the grey skies where the puritans lie To where our feet felt flowers Under the counterfeit moon Take me Take me to where Your love awaits me An angel in the desert far from the capital doom Take me take me to where your love awaits me An angel in the desert far from doom Make me a face like diamonds from the grave Where you were born Where the moon she raises blood before the dawn Take me Take me to where Your love awaits me An angel in the desert far from the capital doom Take me take me to where your love awaits me An angel in the desert far from doom Take me take me to where your love awaits me

Sunshine in the rain Moon still in the frame If you know it takes two I’ll follow you I’ll brush the cobwebs from your hair I’ll take you anywhere you wanna go Even if you wanna go no where Sunshine in the rain Moon still in the frame If you know what I’ll do I’ll follow you Cause when I saw you I didn’t care The world went wild Hat in the air Suddenly I had no choice But to tell you I love you I’ll untie the apron from your waist I’ll take you on a pony ride I bet you want to ride upon all day Sunshine in the rain Moon still in the frame Cause my love is so true I’ll follow you Sunshine in the rain Moon still in the frame If you know it takes two I’ll follow you

Killing the actor Is universal joy. What you are given you can’t keep. You’ve got to make a present of yourself - But here comes the actor who commits to a part Believing in the light and sound that doth haunt you. If in some crowded dream You wake to find there’s no one else around - There’s nothing wrong that wasn’t gone When you were sleeping safe and sound. Nothing will change or pass away. There’s only the present of the day - But here comes the actor convinced with the past - Believing in the wounded child that’s defines you. Somewhere in heaven: There’s a thief who stole the golden crown of God. He gave it to the mortal man who put it on and then Forgot.

Movin’ Ouse Blues. Well my skin ‘n blister phone so very early in the morn. I said:“Sis I can’t talk now I’m jugglin’ in the hall. My wife is throwin’ boxes and stirrin’ a Runstable spoon. The landlord’s making holes in the floor Like I’m dying in a livin’ room.” And She said : “What ever gwanin you got t’ recognise : The ugly-Up road Bo Diddley go Movin’Ouse Blues. Well my Moll she volunteered to drive Lookin’ out to rent a place’ We drove half way around Bristol Couldn’t even find a space To park the car so we went far to Frome where the rooms are huge But all that really was on offer Was a cupboard to suite a broom And I said :“What ever gwanin you got t’ recognise : The ugly-Up road Bo Diddley go Movin’Ouse Blues. We bumped into a mystic monk Who told us of the mysteries of Glastonbury . Not wishing to rent his tent We sailed over the Levels from Street. Moll turned left at Wookie Ol’ Hole So Sure we’d find a nice warm CAVE to sleep. Well we rolled out early in the morning Looking like scrambled eggs Our crumpled crisp bag Mollycopter flew us straight to Wells Plum luck! Well good! Well fine! Well said after broom room, cave and tent “What ever gwanin you got t’ sympathise: The ugly-Up road Bo Diddley go “What ever gwanin you got t’ reconcile : The end of the road Bo Diddley know “What ever gwanin you got t’ recognise : The ugly-Up road Bo Diddley go Movin’Ouse Blues.

Government clowns They make tumbling loops The government hoops of loops Sign in on the internet Give your life to a man far away In Kathmandu You got a clean slate Well so have I But not according to MI5 Don’t know hoe long that can go Before it visualise What they got in those files Make the state pay the rate Why tax the rebate There’s no such thing as fate If you’re a tumbling clown you’ll come tumbling down Its now time to put away that claim To make the day pave the way So shoulders high before you die For to play another mans game Is to for get why you came With your smart phone near a hose How can you follow how can you roam? Hey tumbling clowns Your going to come tumbling down Make the state pay the rate Why tax the rebate There’s no such thing as fate Hey tumbling clown Your gonna tumble down Wherever you roam you Ain’t going home Tumbling clowns come tumbling down

about

This is David 9 Lunas second solo album Universal Joy.
" My initial idea was to lay bare what I saw as negative consequecnces of too much pressure on the people in my universe----- "Universal Joy" goes some considerable way for me, in explaining a solution, not just lyrics but through musical mood.
I dedicated the album to more awareness of mental health in 2017 in the old and young
